Review Commission

The Human Rights Violations Review Commission: mandate, procedures, and independence.

The Human Rights Violations Review Commission is an independent expert body established to ensure that applications submitted to our Platform are assessed in accordance with international human rights law, scientific methodologies, and ethical principles.

The Commission consists of lawyers, forensic medicine specialists, healthcare professionals, academics, and experts from relevant disciplines. Where necessary, independent experts from additional fields may also be invited to provide professional opinions.

The Commission's primary purpose is to examine alleged human rights violations through objective, impartial, and evidence-based methods, and to prepare independent scientific and legal assessments.

International human rights law, scientific methods, forensic medicine, evidence assessment, OSINT, digital evidence analysis, comparative legal research and academic evaluation.

Independence

The Commission does not act on behalf of any State, Government, Political Party, Ideological Movement, Religious Organization or Economic Interest Group. Every case is assessed solely on the basis of evidence and applicable legal standards.
